We just shipped 14 metro area pages for California, making it easier to find contractors in your region.
What’s new
Each metro page groups contractors by geographic area and shows local stats — total active licenses, common license classifications, and a filtered search scoped to that region. This is the same CSLB data, just organized by where contractors operate.
The 14 metros cover every major population center in the state:
- Los Angeles Metro — the largest, covering LA County and surrounding areas
- San Francisco Bay Area — SF, Oakland, San Jose, and the wider Bay
- San Diego Metro — San Diego County
- Sacramento Metro — the capital region
- Plus 10 more regions spanning the Central Valley, Inland Empire, Central Coast, and beyond
How to use them
Start from the California state page and pick your metro, or go directly to a metro page from search results. Each page links to individual contractor license records in that area.
These are geographic groupings of existing California license data — no new data sources, just a better way to browse what’s already here.
